No surprises. No complexity theatre

We run focused, senior-led engagements with clear phases, defined deliverables, and a bias toward decisions over deliberation. Here is what to expect.

How we approach every engagement

Founder-led throughout

One founder, start to finish. The person you meet is the person who does the work.

Selective by design

We say yes rarely, so that when we do, we mean it completely.

Accountable to outcomes

Every engagement begins with agreed success metrics. We stake our reputation on meeting them.

This work demands a certain kind of leader

This is for leaders who know their brand should be working harder than it is.

This is for leaders who want a partner who will challenge them, not just execute.

This is for leaders who value getting it right over getting it fast.

This is for leaders who are ready to invest in a brand that earns its premium.

Phase 01

Clarity

We begin every engagement by understanding the territory: the organisation, the market, the competition, and the ambition. We do not arrive with a template. We arrive with questions — and we produce a written findings document before any strategic recommendation is made.

What we need from you
Senior stakeholder access Existing research Business strategy context Current brand assets
What you receive
Situation analysis Competitive landscape Strategic opportunity map
Phase 02

Direction

This is where we make the calls that matter: positioning, architecture, brand character, and the organising principle that everything else will serve. We present strategic options with clear rationale, facilitate decisions with senior leadership, and document the agreed strategy in a brand platform that becomes the reference point for everything that follows.

Strategy engagements end here. Identity and experience engagements continue. This is a natural point for a go/no-go decision before investment in creative development.

What you receive
Brand positioning statement Brand character framework Architecture rationale Messaging hierarchy
Phase 03

Expression

We translate strategy into a visual and verbal identity system — or into experience design, depending on the engagement scope. We work iteratively, presenting work-in-progress at defined stages rather than disappearing for weeks. You will always know where we are and what decisions are coming next.

We present in context — not on grey slides. Identity work is shown applied to real touchpoints. Experience concepts are prototyped, not described. We do not ask you to imagine; we show you.

Phase 04

Ownership

We ensure your organisation is equipped to live and express the brand consistently — from governance documentation to internal launch materials to briefing packs for your wider agency ecosystem. The engagement ends when you can run the brand without us.

What clients often ask

How long does a typical engagement take?

Every engagement is scoped individually. The duration depends on what we are building together — the complexity of the brand architecture, the size of the organisation, and the pace at which decisions can be made. We agree milestones together at the start and hold ourselves to them. Some engagements are measured in weeks, others in months. We will always be transparent about what is realistic for your situation.

How many people need to be involved from our side?

For most engagements, we need a single senior decision-maker who can provide clear direction and approvals — ideally the CEO or CMO. We work around your calendar, not the other way around. Too many stakeholders slow things down and dilute outcomes.

What does it cost?

We do not publish fees, because engagements vary significantly in scope. Our fees reflect the seniority and selectivity of the practice. If you are comparing us on price alone, we are probably not the right fit. If you want the clearest possible signal that a project is worth doing before committing, start with a strategy-only engagement.

How do you handle confidentiality?

NDAs are available on request and we are happy to sign one before any substantive conversation. However, discretion does not depend on paperwork. We do not discuss current or former clients, the nature of our engagements, or any commercially sensitive information without explicit written permission. Discretion is a founding principle of this practice, not a policy we added later.

Do you work with organisations outside your listed sectors?

Our track record is deepest in luxury, automotive, hospitality & travel, and premium retail. We are selective rather than exclusive: if the challenge is genuinely interesting and the client is genuinely committed, we will consider it.

What happens at the intro call?

Thirty minutes. No preparation required. No pitch from us. We will ask you to describe the challenge in your own words and we will tell you honestly whether we think we can help and how. If it is not the right fit, we will say so — and where possible suggest who might be.

Let's talk about your brand...

A 30-minute conversation costs nothing. The clarity it provides is worth considerably more.
